    Hi ... I'm curious what type of format are cd music you buy from the music store ? I have many original cd artists that I wish to convert into MP3 , Can this be done ? Thanks

    It's 2-channel signed 16-bit PCM sampled at 44,100 Hz. There are lots of programs to convert audio CDs to MPG-3 audio.

    EAC is a good program for this also & can use the LAME encoder.
