    Does anyone know if TMPGEnc 3.0 EXPRESS encodes faster than the standard TMPGEnc 2.5 or is this just another program that is for something else

    It is essentially just the wizard portion of TMPGEN Plus, so I would expect that encoding times would be about the same.

    From what I've seen its just a simpler to use program (thus with some functions not available). If you are comfortable with 2.5 don't bother, but if you or someone is new to the SW, perhaps 3.0 Express would be less confusing??? Download it and try it for the trial period...

    Im well with 2.5 just thought this might be a little faster anyway i usually just turn the wizard off in 2.5..
