    I have a couple recording of Euro 2004 matches I want to watch. They are in Xbid format. Problem is they are all jumpy from framerate diferences I guess. Is there software player I can download and switch to PAL mode so I can watch this video?

    weird. did you try deinterlacing filters in the software?

    very high resolutions xvids? maybe to slow computer. pal and ntsc shouldn't matter if you play on your monitor(you may notice tiny differences depending on your monitor hz settings, that can be solved with reclock but I don't think this is it...).
