  1. downloaded a movie file in in bin and cue in know its svcd mpeg-2 i mounted the image with deamon tools but it wont play it wont work. i burnt the image using nero and works fine in my dvd player. i had stinky's mpeg-2 codec. i have now downloaded the k-lite codec pack i can get the audio to play media player classic but the screen is blank. i want to convert to dvdr using TMPGEnc but it wont it wont recognise it just says file unsupported. Can anyone help please. (i also have divx player and real player installed)

    If you want to view the mpeg2 file on your computer i have had good luck with VLC media player / Videolan. To get tmpgenc to recognize your file just open it in virtual dub mpeg2 or virtualdub mod and frameserve the file to tmpgenc.

    There are lots of guides on this site that pretty much walk you through anything you want to do. On the left side of your screen there is a section called guides. There you can find answers to most questions.
