I'm rather stumped on this one. According to this somewhat threadbare tutorial, what you need to do if you want an overlay for your button highlights is to create a bitmap image that can be imported into DVD Maestro. Well, I did that. Made a 1-bit black and white bitmap at exactly 720x480.
DVD Maestro imported it, but it refuses to do anything with it. Drag it to the menu.. nothing. Seems certain that I got something wrong, although the above-referenced tutorial could have been a little more specific about what sort of file to import, and perhaps how to create it (I used Photoshop).
Anyone know what needs to be done to get this working?
Btw: I've dumped DVD-Lab Pro for the time being. Why? Because I need chapters and subtitles that work, plus Maestro has built-in support for a very desirable funciton - namely, delayed buttons - so I don't have to split my menu into two bits and suffer the video pause between them.
