using Azid with autofind maximum gain selected, having gone through the gain check it starts encoding but have noticed the message line w6:downmix overflow + 0.5db, is this an error, I understand in the event of an error I can reset the gain and reduce by the overflow amount, where do I find what gain value was auto set by Azid.
Thanks

In the azid window that pops up there's a load of information about the stream that's being created (as well as the one being put in). At one point there will be the details of ach channel, your compression setting and gain in decibels will be there. Take .5 - .5 of that number and exit azid (not the gui, just the dos window). Now set that number you just worked out as your gain, switch off auto-find maximum gain and away you go.
