  1. Hi guys,

I've tried a LOT of setting with TMPgENC.

With premiere, i`ve expoort my final video, witch was about 1 hour, final size is: 14gig AVI-DV format.

Now, with TMPGENC I've compressed it to fit on a dvd MPEG-2.

Well... the best i've got was a 3.5 gig file! I want MORE than that!! is that possible to know what will be the file size after conversion? How can i make it work more than 3.5 gig.

I've try a lot of setting, even the Unlock setting ... it was LESS than 3.5 gig !?!?!?

    please help,
    thanks.

use the wizard and it will give you a pretty good size calculation,or just up the bitrate.

1 hour video will be around 3.5 GB using tmpgenc max dvd bitrate, around 8000kbits. You can unlock the tmpgenc dvd bitrate and change it to around 9000kbits(if you use compressed audio) and the size will be around 4 gb....but 8000 kbit/s should be enough.

Hmm yeah i did that at 9000 and that was the max i think...

Should i get a plugin to automaticly convert my final video in PREMIERE to MPEG-2 ? Like Canopus Pro-Coder ?
