  1. Hello, I'm new to video editting and I want to do some editting and times running out so I need some guide.

I downloaded a massive number of codecs [ multi codec packs ] and installed long ago, i only use it to see stuffs, not I use it to edit vid, when I use premiere, all those DivX and Xvid videos BLACK OUT during editting in premiere. They render out OK, and OK in all other media players, but just during editting, they black out. What should I do??

    Thanks in advance!

Why is it urgent, and how is time running out? This isn't a suicide video, is it?

If you have the HDD space you could load the DivX or Xvid file into VirtualDubMod then re-save to an uncompressed AVI file.

If you don't have enough HDD space for uncompressed AVI then try using the HuffyUV codec.

Then load the new AVI into Adobe Premiere and it should now (knock on wood) work.
