Even with two films, the VIDEO_TS folder that is created doesn't exceed 2.5gig - it's not worth burnin that too a dvd when so much space is being wasted. Am I missing an option somewhere that tells the program to use a whole dvd?

try putting 3 or maybee 4 films on then. it depends on the size of the film

yep...all depends on the original files sizes....
pretty much...i dont know the exact formula...but add 100 mbs to your current video file...and that is the finished product.
So say you have 4 files...at 700 mb each....thats....ummmm
/me pulls out his calculatory system
2.8 gb....add 400 mb.......thats 3.2...add 100 mb for OTHER ....and your dvd is gonna be around 3.3 gb big...
just go with adding 100mb to each file...then add 100mb for menu/other
and you should be able to get a rough estimate of the size your resultant DVD will be.

Right, thanks for those replies. I wondered at first if it meant that the quality was being reduced. It makes sense now, cheers.
