To start off, I am new at all of this.
I finally finished making a project with Adobe Encore. I made a background in photoshop and brought it in encore for my menu background. I set up the menu so each button would play each of the .avi's that I brought in. Previewed and tested it.
The trouble is, it seems as if I can only burn a DVD format with Encore. I want to make a VCD instead. Is there any way that I can make a VCD with my Encore project? Or am I going to have to make this project with another program to be able to get a VCD format?
The only thing that I could think of that might be close to somehow ending in a VCD is one option is to "Build DVD => Make DVD Image". This saves a folder to my hard drive. Inside this folder are two more folders "Cache" and "Sources", a .img file and a .xml file. Maybe these can somehow be turned into a vcd?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Encore only does DVD. VCD does not really support all the menu features anyway. Try Ulead Movie Factory (try before you buy available).
