I have a 700mb movie thats in divx format, i want to burn it on dvd, i read the guide that i need to make it in a mpeg2 format and then author the dvd and then burn. I just tried TMPGEnc and it says its gonna take 10 hours! I was wondering if that should be this long. Thanks

Thats about right, depending on how fast your system is, and what else you're doing at the time.
Try Mainconcept Mpeg Encoder for a little more speed.
You can also customize the settings in tmpgenc and cut that time in about half.
Check out the guides.Cheers, Jim
