I have all the VOB, BUP and IFO files and can burn with Nero for a DVD.
Trouble is the subtitles (Dutch) are locked i.e. cant switch them off.
Can i remove them by leaving out one of the files above and if so which one contains the subtitles.

Try load it with DVD Shrink and re-author with unchecking those sub title tabs and then backup. But if you are dealing with a pirated copy, i.e. not original copy of your own, this is not a right place for you.
