What's the quickest and easiest way to convert episodes from a DVD to MPGs that can be resized to the users requirements?
I've downloaded TMPGEnc DVD Author which is excellent at ripping the episode to an MPG, but the size is 800Mb, but I need it to be around the 90-120Mb mark.
Thanks all.

90-120mb - how long is the movie ? At that size, what sacrifices are you prepared to make ? To get it down to that range, you will have to
1. Heavily compress
2. Resize to a quarter the resolution
3. Consider chopping the frame rate
After all that, you might have something very jerky, blocky, indisinct and the size of a postage stamp, but the file size will be small. -
They're just 20 minute episodes of Futurama & The Simpsons.
I've downloaded epsiodes in the past and found 30-50Mb too poor, but anything over 90Mb has been pretty good. But it would be much quicker and easier (I hope) to rip them from my DVDs.
