  1. I have just got hold of a compressed movie file, when I extract the files I get a 4.3GB .img file. What programs would I need to turn the .img file into something that can be burned onto a DVD?

Burn it with DVD Decryptor or any other burning program that supports image. There are guides on this site for exactly this.

  3. Thanks. I tried searching for it but everytime I did the results were for [img]https://www.videohelp.com/forum/images/guides/p970968/ and not .img.

  4. I've just been on the guide and the software it says to use - ImgTools only builds from an .IFO file not an .IMG

If it helps the file name is rep-hp3tc.img

  5. Try mounting you image with Daemon-tools and then burn your dvd from your virtually mounted drive.

IMGTools is used to create the image. You already have one so just burn it.

Skip to step 4 of that guide.

DVD decryptor supports multiple types of disk images including both .iso and .img.
