  1. Greetings,

I am having a problem encoding with Gordian Knot. Everytime I encode with gordian Knot using XviD, the file size is not what i set it up to be. Usually i set it up to fit on cd (695mb) but the results on all my movies is at 245mb and I can't open them. It works fine with DivX 3.11 but not when i wanna encode with XviD ver1.

I reinstalled Gordian Knot applied the updates, and resintalled the codec but still no luck. It does the same thing over again.

I read the Gordian Knot guide for XviD at doom9.org and followed step by step instructions but its still not working also.

    What am I missing???

    Thanks

  2. Not sure why,

I have been playing with AutoGK and its file size is dead on. I know that GK by itself has more functions and control, but give the ease and great quality of AutoGK, give it a try. I have found that all things equal, Xvid gives better results and a high quality %.

Did you first uninstall your older xvid version before upgrading to 1.0? Do that and the problems should go away.
