    I ordered some blank dvd-r's from supermediastore.com.

When I go and see what the problem is with me not recieving my package. I get this from the ups website: CORRECT STREET # NEEDED, NOT DELIVERED;DELIVERY RESCHEDULED

The problem is everything is correct.

So this is what I was thinking about sending to ups customer support:

I dont see what the problem is, my address is correct. FEDEX MANAGED TO FIND MY HOUSE. Does the UPS Delivery person need help finding my house, I recommend using mapquest.com if UPS doesnt have a map with correct information on it. If this cant be solved I'll never use UPS again.

Would that make things worse? Should I tone down my first email to customer service?

just give them a call and ask what the problem is, no point sending a snotty mail when it's probably not their fault. chances are supermediastore passed your details on wrong.

Thx, I sent a email without the stuff I posted above and correct mailing address. Turns out supermediastore.com did give them a wrong mailing address.

    NOT REALLY.

I got a Christmas package from a family member and UPS gave the same lame excuse "CORRECT STREET # NEEDED, NOT DELIVERED;DELIVERY RESCHEDULED " Only this was not via email it was via a post office letter sayin I had to come to their offices to pick up the package.
    Hmmmm.
Obviously, they had the right address or else the letter from the post office would have never gotten to my house.
So I go to their offices to pick up my package and ya know, the address on the package was just perfect. The customer service rep could not explain why it was not delivered to me nor to the other 6 people with the exact same problem.
I figure since it was Christmas time they just did not bother to deliver to residences with all of the other business deliveries they had to make. So they left the delivery up to the recipients,
Since, the fee for UPS service includes delivery, I asked for a refund of the delivery fee or the entire cost since the contract was not fulfilled. About three weeks later, I got this letter from UPS saying how sorry they were and they had taken corrective action to not have that happen again.
To which I replied, so have I. It is called Fed Ex.

I use FedEx, too. I only use UPS if that's the only option the company uses. Also, stay away from AirBorne Express. I'd use UPS and USPS over them. They've lost so many packages and delivered much later than promised on very important things. My company stopped using AirBorne Express all together, a few years ago, because of serious problems with deliveries, and they weren't cheap either. I'm surprised the company hasn't gone out of business.

FedEx is the way to go. They have a little more cost to their service, but they are guaranteed to arrive before a certain time or you can get your full cost back. Thery are also automatically insured, with limitations but with using it for eBay, computer parts, and other small packages you're covered. And it's certified to where you get a signature to prove it's been delivered. You also have to give them a phone number for the sender and a recipient's phone number is optional, in case they have trouble delivering. Many of the FedEx trucks have GPS to locate an address, and they leave a notice if you're not there when they try to deliver. You can have them just drop it off w/out a signature, but not in my neighborhood. They also verify the zip code before they take the package. I only wish they had a notes section to have the package signed for in the office if you're in an apartment. Before we got our house, I hated having to wait until the next day because sub. drivers wouldn't bring the packages to the office.
