Can someone help me PLEASE!!!
I captured avi files off of my camcorder without any problem using windDV
I wanted to join certain segments together.
Segment 1 is 36 seconds
Segment 2 is 7 minutes and 38 secodns
Segment 3 is 12 minutes and 30 seconds
Segment 4 is 12 minutes and 30 seconds
This should give me a total file of 33 minutes and 14 seconds however the final file is 37 minutes and 12 seconds

When I watch it I notice that part of Segment 3 duplicates itself. It will play through fine and then add the first 4 minutes of segment 3 to the end of segment 3 just before segment 4 starts.

I have tried everything that I can think of.
Redownloaded Vdub thinking that it was the program (using ver. 1.5.10)
Appened Segments 1 & 2 then made a new file and then appended the new file with Segment 3
All giving the same results

However
If I take my Segment 3 and then append my segment 4 make a file and then use it to append to files 1 and 2 everything is fine.

I'm just wondering why this happened as I made alot of coasters before I realized it wasn't my fault by dropping in the same file in twice. Because I don't want to have to add all my file lengths up to make sure everything is okay.

Whenever I run more than one AVI file, I try with AviSynth first.
