What's the best software to remove spyware?

I use that in conjunction with Ad-Aware, you can use the free edition. Either misses some that the other catches, so I think it's good to use both.

I Use ad-aware along with CWShredder....does the job...CW reoves hijacked fies,web, etc...

Download CWShredder and Spybot Search And Destroy(check for updates as soon as you download it) to check for spyware.

If that doesn't completely remove it:
Download Hijackthis and post the log onto the message board on the above web site...within a day or so someone will help you get rid of the problem.
READ the FAQ first. They will respond ALOT quicker if you follow the rules in the FAQ.

As noted above Spyware S&D is good... but use it along with Ad-aware V6 (free version).

Also, add to your arsenal ZoneAlarm Personal (again free)

I have been using Pest Patrol for over a year, but the update feature disabled itself and gives errors now I'm looking for a new one now.

Thanks guys. I have to do some chemistry stuff right now but I'll download Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware, and CWShredder and let you guys know if I have any more problems. Thanks again.
