Ok, I just burnt a dvd and did a surface scan with DVDinfoPro. Came back with no errors. But when I surface scan with Nero CD Speed, it gets damaged readings. So my question is, which is better? Should I take the Nero and reburn?

This isn't exactly an answer to your question, but run a transfer rate test on the disc (the DVDInfoPro transfer rate test will probably look more fugly than the CD Speed test). If there aren't any large spikes in your transfer rate test, then I'd probably not worry about the disc. I'm guessing that the transfer rate test WILL have some spikes, though, considering that one program is giving you errors.
