Specifically I want some software that will allow me to take only parts of an image and save them to a new file. Say for instance if I wanted only a picture of one person and take the other person out (all those damn ex's!) haha. Anyways if somebody could point me in the right direction I would very much appreciate it, thanks!

  6. I wanted to do some simple image editing recently and came across

    VCW VicMan's Photo Editor

I found it easy to use and feature-packed.

Not sure if this will do what you want it to exactly but I have some later versions ( commercial versions ) and they work wonders.... i believe you have to give them an email address though.

  8. try www.tucows.com or www.download.com

both will have tons of image editing apps. You may find an older version of Paint Shop Pro (this one is shareware) that is my personal favorite.
