when ever i try to encode avi - dvd (or anything else for that matter), the conversion runs for about 5mins then I get 'floating decimal point error'.
Ive tried ripping the audio out through virtualdub & have checked the file/s for any errors with no luck.![]()
can anyone help ?

have tried changing the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader already & tested the video file. changing enviromental setting had no effect and virtualdub confirms no probs with source video.
any ideas ?
