  1. I have tried to back up a DVD onto a DVD-R the steps that I used was just going to DVD Shrink and then doing the Reading of the disk and then clicking backup. usually it reduces the sixe to the exact amount of a full DVD-R I think 4454mb (not quiet 100% sure of that size though). But for this one dvd that I was backing up it made the size about 100mb in the red up the top so that it was about 100mb maybe a little more larger than the maximum size. So how do I get it so that I can reduce the size even more, because I can't seem in DVD Shrink apart from doing still images, be able to reduce the size at all lower than the automatic size which I think in this instance was 56% quality. is there any way that I am able to reduce the size a little more without making the still image option or without removing a couple of Special features, even if it does slightly reduce the quality?

Please if anyone knows of a way please let me know. Thanks for any help in advance.

You can run it twice, but you're getting horrible picture quality I'm sure. I woudln't go below 85%. But if you run it twice it will shrink it even more.

One of the remaining issues with DVD Shrink (and Nero Recode, surprise they use the same engine) is that once in a while (it's happened to me ONCE, and to a friend of mine ONCE) it will make the movie a little too big, even when you pick "advanced analysis". Weird, huh?
