I noticed that RIMA sells Taiyo Yuden DVD+R. What does it mean when they say the DVDs are 'silver topped'. Is it just a writeable surface finish? Do the disks have a manufacturer's name and speed stamped on the surface?
thanks,

it usually means that they are unbranded. They have no writing on them, just a plain silver top.
