  1. Is there any reason why MPEG2 videos created by Mainconcept crash exploer.exe when they are selected? The video play fine but will crash explorer.

    Using Windows XP

    I don't know about Mainconcept but I used to get this on most of my MPEG2 files - try turning off pop descriptions in Explorer
    Explorer >> Tools >> Folder Options >>View
    >>Show pop-up descriptions for folder and desktop items

    It's easy to try and it fixed my problem with explorer crashing
