Hi all this is my first time posting please be gentle, i have to say these forums are off tha heezy! thanx evry1 i learnt a great deal
My question is i have an ATI AIW card, i'm trying to capture off satelite at 640x480 but i cant because in the "video" settings tab it is saying PAL-B system which only allows me to capture at 640x524.
But PAL-M and PAL-60 have the option that i want 640x480, if i set it to these settings it says "the recording settings are not compatable with the current broadcast standard the recorded image will be incorrect"
So how do i get my 640x480 res or is 640x524 just as good?
Hope this all makes sense
Ne help will be awesome![]()

Maybe you should resize after capturing. You could use TMPGEnc or a similar programme to accomplish this. (That is if you are capturing to mpg. If you capture to avi use VirtualDub)
I'm sorry I'm not too familiar with PAL. Maybe another forum member will be of further assistance.
