Ripped DVD using latest decryptor. Then used GUIDE for simpledivx with Divx codec 5.1.1. Not sure why guide wants video rendered from 740 to 640 but wanted to follow guide to the letter first time, and experiment later if it worked. Ripped DVD was on master drive and authored to slave. Tried to play with ATI player and WM9 player. Video is sharp but in slow motion, jerky and often out of sync with audio. Did I do something wrong? Is it just that I need a different player?
System: 1.5GHz P4, WD 8meg 7200 drives, AIW8500.
