Hello, I'm in desperate need of some expert guidance!

I have this anime dvd that i want to convert to xvid so that i can watch it on my kiss dp558 standalone.

I have used the following apps with the same results:
avidemux
acidrip
devede
dvd::rip
mencoder command line
prism (via wine)

Thing is: when i convert the video without deinterlacing it (using avidemux) it looks perfect - but the sound is way out of sync.
If I deinterlace it the sound is fine but motion when panning is jerky - I have used EVERY deinterlacer I could find!!

Watching it on vlc or mplayer it looks fine but on the kiss it jerks.

It is a 25fps pal video.
I have to removed b-frames and I am using 2 pass encoding.

Please help - I have spent weeks on this.
