It seems that the surround sound on my Celera DVD3600 is not working now. I had placed a video mpg CD into an watched it. It played fine with sound and everything. But now when I try to watch movies the sound doesnt seem to work.

I am not sure if it was a bad processor chip in it, or that I may have messed up the bios inside the unit.

Does anyone know if I could have messed up the internal programing by playing a video mpeg file in it?

The dvd player now makes the sound flick on for about 1 sec and then turn off for about 20 sec, and then it repeats the process.

Any info would be apreceated before I buy another unit.
