  1. Not sure where to put this post, I really did look!

Burning multiple CD's with Nero, the first one burns fine at any speed, then teh disc pops out, and it says waiting for disc, please insert a blank disc. I insert the blank disc, and within 2-3 seconds (at ANY speed) it pops out saying "write error"
So I close it out, open the project again, and burn it one at a time (using the same disc it just gave me a write error on)

Seems to me that Nero isn't giving the drive enough time to start spinning after I insert the CD. Any idea's?

  3. Most likely not, but I'm not having the same problem in EasyCD creator (Should have mentioned that)

I just lowered the burn rate to 20X and switched to nero express and it works fine at 20X.

If it burns one copy fine at 32X, shouldn't it burn multiple copies at 32X (I can't remember what the CD's are rated for, I don't think it's 32X though)

Edit - Nevermind, it just failed again at 20X in nero express on the third copy. The log lists my burner (NEC ND-2500a), then says invalid block address, then burn process failed at 20X.

  4. I checked DVDInfo and the media is rated at 32X. Right now I'm burning 32X and having 100% success on the first copy, roughly a 50% success rate on the second, and 25% on the third, etc.... only takes me a couple seconds to say "burn this project again" re-insert the disc and keep burning. EasyCD only lets me burn at 16X, so I suppose it's better than nothing, I'll deal.
