Run it through Shrink again or burn to two disks instead.

You could run it through DVDShrink again, or try dvd2one.
    If in doubt, Google it.

    emored,

Presuming you've already deleted as many "extras" as possible -

    There are a few options:

    1. Try NERO RECODE

    2. Use DVDfab to split the movie over two discs (awkward but keeps
    good quality)

    3. Shrink the movie to your Hard Drive - then re-Shrink the end result
    AGAIN in DVD Shrink.

    Good luck,

    Moonstomp.

  7. hi again

yes the advice seems to do the job , i am quite amazed at the obviousness of re shrinking ! but not an obvious i would have thought you could do in my own thinking .. got another puzzler though now i have wasted some time working on an avi ( yeah i checked after and the avi was the same ) and took it right through to burning stage , but no sound on pc or dvd player , so the original file is soundless too , however the real puzzle for me is when i used that gspot program to analyse it , it said the file should be fine suitable codecs etc . i took it as an avi but its also tagged as xvid . ( on gspot analysis ) cant say as its a problem on other films wonder whats so special on this one ?

    anyways cheers again !

    emored,

Glad that re-Shrinking worked for you.

As for xVid - well I don't know much about them. I do know that you can have a lot of problems with converting them to DVD, especially loss of sound.

There's a full guide on XVid to DVD on this site:
