  1. I have an SVCD bin file which I put into SVCD2DVD and ripped to MPG and created DVD folders. All works fine with end product DVD files.
However the generated mpeg file and the convered "xxxx_DVD" file I cannot delete.
I have rebooted pc and ensured no video software/SVCD2DVD open. Error message says file "access denied" "make sure the disk is not full or write protected and the file is not currently in use"

Help... at this rate if I can't delete my disc will be full in no time!!!
    Cheers

PS I have no probs deleting files in general. I am running xphome with >10gb of free space

Bizzare. Can you try renaming the file? If so can you delete thereafter (or after a reboot?)

I have now rebooted machine some 7 hours later and the files have now GONE!!!!

Ahhh.. They have now gone at last... thanks to all for your suggestions..
