  1. Hi,
I have a problem with recording DVD's on MAC Powerbook G4 and PC.
Recommend me please software for recording DVD on MAC Powerbook G4 for following playing
on PC and software for recording DVD on Pc for following playing on MAC Powerbook G4.
Also, recommend me please universal DVD player for MAC and PC, if he exist. Software can be free or comercial. Desirable, that software, will not be difficult in use.
    Thanks.

Okay, first, Mac is short for Macintosh. It is _not_ an acronym.

Then, you should use Toast for burning your discs on your Powerbook, and pick the Data > UDF option. Then when you burn your DVD, it will be readable by both your PC and your standalone DVD Player. If you are having trouble creating a DVD with the proper hierarchical structure, please check out Galatica's tutorial on the creating DVDs.
If it isn't broken, take it apart and find out why.

DVD is DVD there is no "incompatiblity" problem

Assumign you burn it in DVD-ROM UDF mode on the Mac you can read it on the PC. Assuming you burn it in DVD-ROM UDF mode on the PC you can read it on a mac.

You dont have to worry about one burned on a mac not being read by a pc or standalone dvd player.

DVD player software thats cross platform?! hummm again it doesnt matter. Power DVD for PC will play dvd's. So will Apple's DVD Player.

If you wanted a cross plaform player for some reason Video Lan Client is one that comes to mind. It plays DVD's on Mac and it also plays them on PC

    make since?
