  1. I use and really like Missing Media tools and Missing Media Burner. I've got a question as to the use or perhaps a fix for an issue I've had. I often run low on disk space on by boot disk. So I am glad MMTools lets you choose where to put the files that are being made. I was making an apox 700mb bin/cue file. It must use the boot disk for a working disk. I ran out of space and it quit with a running out of disk space message. Well the space on the boot disk is now missing and I can not find the file so I can delete it. I used tinker tools which shows the hidden files and system files. Didn't help find the file at all and also tried using the find file in OSX. No luck there either. Any idea of what to do to delete and or find the file? Thanks in advance. Schwinn

  2. You said you have used "Find File". If you have not already done so, you might try searching with the criteria "visibility = off" AND "size larger than 700MB". Perhaps you might get lucky and find the file you seek plainly named. Or at least with a name that will offer a clue as to its origin.

I'm guessing that as a user of Tinkertool, you have already done this though...

Thanks for the hints to try. I didn't try the "visibility = off" since I had turned this on with Tinkertools. The only files it came up with were core filess all apox 40mb in size and one 76 mb swap file. I'm hoping to somehow fix this. I will otherwise have to do a new install. I managed to do the above twice so I'm now down to less then 300 mb free on my 4 GB partition.. All sorts of things start to act oddly with this little free space. I did write to the author of the program. I don't know if he will reply or not. He didn't a while back when I had a question on using one of his other programs.
