I'm using an ATI AIW 9800 Pro capture card with MMC.
Is there any way around the 125 channel limit? There is a great deal of content on the 200+ channels that I want to capture.

Those sound like digital cable channels
Thus any analog tuner card the ATI AIW included, can't tune them, and if it could tune them they'd not display anything.
Sorry you need to use a digital cable box to see those.
Good Luck -
Yep, they're digital cable channels.
So, will the card pick up the channels if I run the cable from the wall to the cable box, and then to the capture card? Any special settings I'll need to adhere to? -
if you do it that way, you leave the capture card's tuner on channel 3 (usually) and you change channels using the cable box
