Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum as well as dvd writing in general.
I captured a vhs tape and then tried to burn the mpeg into a dvd movie, but got the following message:
"Could not complete last command: video picture size larger than buffer."
Does anyone know what this means? And how to solve it?
(I'm using a program called Sonic MyDVD to burn the dvd. So far I'm not very happy with it...)

It means you need to provide more speciffics if you really expect to get any ******* help here.

3. Then I used a program called Sonic MyDVD to burn the dvd-rw. Here I used one of the default menus available, a simple start button and nothing else.
4. The writer itself is a Sony DRU-530A.
5. I pressed the Burn button in the Sonic MyDVD program and it asked
what speed I wanted, 2.4 or 4 (I've tried both), I chose and there it went.
It took about 6 hours just to encode audio, and I left the computer on all night only to check it again in the morning with the error message.
If you need more specifics, it would be nice to know which specifics are needed. -
Sonic MyDVD sucks. It insists on LPCM audio
which wastes lots of space , and it's way too
picky about videos.
Try the TMPGenc DVD author demo
works good - lasts for 30 days -
