Ok i'll start with the beginning. I've got these short films through e-mail. They are all AVIs so i started making separated *.wav files with virtualdub 1.4.1. Now i can make an MPEG file with TMPGenc Plus 2.5. After getting all these MPEGs, i want to start TMPGenc DVD Author, but then i encounter this:
I'm stuck with it. So how can i change all these things?
- The video resolution 320x240 cannot be used for a standard DVD
The video resolution 320x240 cannot be used for a standard DVD
For a standard DVD you can only use the following resolutions:
352x240 352x480 704x480 720x480 pixels (NTSC format only)
352x288 352x576 704x576 720x576 pixels (PAL format only)- The video framerate 30 fps cannot be used for a standard DVD
The video framerate 30 fps cannot be used for a standard DVD
You can only use the following framerate for a standard DVD:
29.97 fps (NTSC format only)
25 fps (PAL format only)- A video sequence heared is necessary for every GOP in a standard DVD
The video sequence is incorrect.
A video sequence header is necessary for every GOP in a standard DVD.
On top of that i have a PAL DVD player. But the one it's for lives in the USA so that's NTSC... Much work to do.
Every advice would be great, only not "it can't be done" coz it's for someones Birthday.

Start TMPGenc. Choose File/Project Wizard. Choose DVD/NTSC or DVD/NTSC (low resolution) from the templates listed.
On the right, click on the dropdown box to choose your bitrate. Choose the highest while still being able to fit your vids on the DVD. VBR will give you better results than CBR but take longer to encode.
Click Next. Choose your video and audio files. Keep clicking next til you leave the wizard and encoding starts. Go get a cup of coffee or watch a movie til encoding is done. You now have DVD compliant mpegs which can be authored to DVD.
