Hi There,
I'm having problems converting my VOBs to AVIs that can be read in Sony Vegas.
I'm looking to make a whole bunch of fan/custom trailers.
The steps I'm following are;
1. I get the VOBs using DVDDecrypter
2. I load the VOBs into DGIndex (dgmpgdec149) and create DV2 files.
3. I then load the D2V file into VFAPIConvEN and create an 'AVI'
Problem is nothing reads the AVI. It won't recognise it in Sony Vegas nor playing it in WMP.
Am I doing something wrong. Is this the best method of converting VOBs into AVIs so that I can edit in Sony Vegas?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thankee

	I haven't tried that method, but I don't use Vegas either. It sounds like you are frameserving the file to Vegas with VFAPI. There are some guides here at the bottom of the page: https://www.videohelp.com/tools/VFAPI_Reader

 Or take a look at this frameserving guide: https://forum.videohelp.com/topic261416.html

 And welcome to our forums.

	Thanks for the help

 I read the Guide and ran the vifpset.bat and it worked after that.

 Just call me a noob
