Regards from the Land of Saabs and Volvos!
I'd like to hear from people who have bought the Pinnacle Show Center. I am getting great results with video recording using the iuVCR program and my MSI/Nvidia Personnal Cinema.
The problem is the noise from the computer. With the addition of a Thermalrite Heatsink and an Aopen PSU with adjustable fan speed, I have really reduced the noise problem for video playback, but quiet as it has become, it's just not as quiet as a conventional VCR or DVD player.
I do have a home network and I have my films & TV programs stored on a file server.
Kiss Technologies (http://www.kiss-technology.com/?p=dp500&v=users)
has a DVD player which can be connected to a home network, but it won't record. If it did, that would be the perfect solution.
I'm leaning towards a home DVD recorder combined with the Pinnacle Show Center.
I like having my films on the harddrive but it is unclear to me if the Pinnacle will be able to play ISO files.
