  1. I've got a downladed movie in AVI which I am wanting to convert using TMPGEnc. I ran it through Virtual Dub to get the fps and it says it is 30.024. Am I alright to still try and convert this as NTSC, or is it likely to come back jumpy, as has before. If I do have to change the framerate, what is the best way to do it so I don't desyncronise the video and audio?
I've already had a look through a lot of the past topics but haven't managed to find the answer. Any help would would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

  2. I did a similar conversion with tmpgenc once, the audio will match if you let tmpgenc do both audio and video and set the framerate to 29.97. I could be wrong, been a while since i used tmpgenc and my memory is not that good. Maybe its worth a try anyway?

  3. A small conversion like that tmpgenc will handle nicely.
Just encode it and then demo it in a software dvd player to make sure.

Yeah, that's a very slight difference from 29.97. It will probably look fine if you encode at 29.97.
