  1. I used to buy TDK media made by TY but now I can only find TDK made by CMC.
Verbatim made by MCC are hard to find while Ritek G04 is very common.

Based on ur knowledge and experience I'd like to know if there's any big difference between TY/MCC/RICOH and RitekG04.

I just want to know if TY/MCC/RICOH is worth the trouble to get them.

It may be a hassle to track down your favourite discs but it is worth it. I have had endless trouble with bad burns (failure to verify, glitches on playback, players not playing discs) so l had to track down some ricohs/ritechs, and since have had much fewer problems. In the long run good Quality discs are cheaper as you chuck less of them out. Maybe in a year or so discs and burners will have evolved to the same state that cdr and cd burners are at!

Goto RIMA.com and get some TYs, they are move expensive, like 1.35ish in a 100 pack but they are first class 4x disc.

I"m staying away from Ritek for a while after some of the recent quality issues we've seen.

  6. If I buy online in a store outside EU, I have to pay some taxes plus shipping fees and that makes the media way too expensive.

Is there any good european online store?. My preference is for those based outside UK.
