  1. I will start by listing the details first. Vid clip in AVI file extension; when loaded into TMPGEnc, the specs at the bottom say; MPEG-1 352x288 25fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 48000Hz 192kbps. I loaded the VideoCD[ntsc].mcf template and converted the file with the settings unchanged. I then used NTi CD-Maker Pro2000(demo) to burn to a blank disk. My standalone does play VCDs'. It took several minutes for it to load. When I pushed play, it took even longer for it to start playing, and then it played so slow that it seemed to "skip" form spot to spot while hestating in between. When I burned a 3 minute segment from the clip(total of about 45 min.) and tried it in my standalone, it played fine, and plays fine on my pc. Any suggestion would be very welcome!
