newbie question, what tools do I need for AC3?

I have a DivX with AC3 sound, and converted the video part of it to DVDmpeg2 already. now I want to extract the AC3 audio from the DivX and add it to the finished mpeg2 video. What tools do I need?

Have you done a search through the "How To" guides before you posted this question? Please don't expect people to feed you the answer to such an obvious question.
