  1. ok, I have an .avi file and im tryin to convert in with DVD2SVCD but when it opens TMPGEnc to encode it it gives me an error and says "AVI source could not locate a decompressor for fourCC DVSD" any1 have any idea what that means?

    Try installing the Mainconcept DV Codec.

  3. is this the only codec?cuz its $50 to use w/o a watermark, is there any other possible route?

  7. i installed the canapus one and same problem. is there a directory i should install it to?it didnt ask me when i wanted to install it so i assume it just installed to the correct directory. should I try the panasonic one or am i doing something wrong

    You might want to try the Mainconcept one anyway. I believe it's only trialware for encoding. You should be able to keep it for just decoding DVSD.
