Help capturing (PAL)with Ulead video studio 7

I started following the tutorial posted on the site but it refers to NTSC,is it possible to capture the video as AVI PAL instead

I don't see why not. You just need to change the framesize and the framerate. It's like 25fps and 720x576 I think instead of 29.97fps and 720x480

I would watch Ulead's suggestion for field order. I find that with Ulead products I must use Field Order B and in version 8 I must select Upper Field First (field A). That may work out different for you, I don't know.

I;ve tried and gave up. couldn't find any screen in Ulead to change the framesize for the capture.
