    hi,
    just backed up a multi and trying to do a different one. got to 98% in write mode and got the error message failed to read sector.... illegal mode for this track i/o error interpretation check condition please tell me why and how to fix...is this dvdr a goner???

    Are you backing up a DVD-R or a DVD-9? Either way it might be the disk is dirty.

    I would try cleaning it and if you're backing up a DVD-R you don't need Decryptor at all, just copy the files using windows explorer.

    its a dvdr and its actually in read mode, not write mode that I encountered the problem. could you please tell me step by step how to copy using explorer??

    To copy with explorer : insert the DVDR and drag and drop the VIDEO_TS directory to your harddisk.
