Can anyone help me out? I have a Philips DVDR75 and I am trying to add motion menus to the disc after it's completed. I have tried using TMPGEnc Author and it will accept one track with no problems, but when I try to add additional tracks either I get no audio or I get an error message regarding the audio specified.
I also tried using Smartripper but TMPG cannot locate the disc files after that process.
I'm new at this and I probably need to download the dvd files into my computer (I know this will sound stupid) but I do not know how to do that.
Maybe I need a dvd authoring program for dummies.
Can someone help me out?
Thanks

With my Phillips DVD recorder disks, since there is no protection, you can simply open them in explorer and just copy the two folders ( AUDIO-TS and VIDEO -TS ) to your HD.
In TDA open new project and click on Add DVD Video. Locate the two folders you copied and click on the VIDEO-TS folder. In a minute or two the files that yoou burned in the Phillips should appear. TDA will transform them back to MPG2 but only one at a time. Once you have all of the files back to MPG2 you can author your new DVD. Look at the various guides for TMPGEncDVDAuthor on how to author a multi file DVD.
I do this quite often so I know it works very well. If you eber cannot axcess one of the Phillips burned files, then there is something wrong with your Phillips disk.No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!
