I'm using nero to burn some files into a dvd, and when it reach half way through. the whole system would freeze up. Of course it's another dvd+r wasted. I'm using TDK dvd+r. any idea what is going on?

You more then likely have a thermal problem.
But, you failed to provide any information in your profile so its a little difficult to help you.
What computer?
Operating system?
Processor?
Why not use DVD+RWs and save the media. -

I just got it flashed to 1.12 w/ pioneer official firmware. going to try to burn again w/ dvd-rw -
great, froze again. cpu temp was at 50c, mb temp was at 36c
should I flash mine with http://www.pioneeraus.com.au/computer/firmware.html 1.15?
also I burned a cd-r ealier and it works perfectly fine...
just flashed to 1.15.. same thing.... this is getting to be very disapointing *sigh...* -
conclusion: nero 6.3.1.10 sucks. my burner works with the Ulead Burn.Now. Any other burning program I should try/use?
