  1. I'm converting some very short concert clpis that were shot on a digital camera in AVI format to .MPG. The converted file has a lot more fidelity, which in this case is not a good thing because the sound is trashy to begin with. The lower fidelity audio in this case actually sounds better, as in doesn't reveal the distortion in the audio as much. What can I do to prevent this from occurring? I've tried reencoding the wav file with the mpg file but it's still not what i want. Any suggestions? Is this possible?

  2. Reduce the audio bitrate to 128 or lower during encode.
