Iam trying to find out if there is any obvious benifits to using DVD Decrypter in combination with DVD Shrink? Besides the fact that is makes the DVDS region free. I currently just use Shrink and have had no problems.
Thanks

On previous versions of DVDShrink(<3.1.5) I had to use DVDDecrypter to rip because DVDShrink was slow at ripping and sometimes wouldn't crack the CSS.

Well, like you stated in you post sometimes DVD Decrypter seems to do a better job at ripping some DVD’s (specially scratched ones). I use DVD Decrypter so I can rip first then put a blank DVD to burn, (I only have a dvd burner, DVD drive died) I start DVD Shrink and use the option to use Nero to burn then I came back in about an hour and all is done.
