  1. I am looking for a cheap (or free) program that will allow me to cut various scenes out of a different DVDs (music dvds) to form one DVD. I have been using DVDShrink, but the editing facility is very limited (no sound or playback preview), also the 'edits' are pretty 'jumpy' between scenes. I would prefer not to have to convert the DVD to .avi or similar.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess it depends on what you're doing, but I haven't had any problems editing without the sound.
